By Members, For Members

Long involved in charitable contributions, supporting community efforts and junior athletics, club activities, fund raisers, and functions have always played a big role in the boat club. This is a club by and for the members.

Membership History

From a small group of men in 1895 to over 500 present day members; from dories, Amesbury skiffs, steam launches, and basic naptha engines to fast, sleek fiberglass boats of all shapes and sizes; no more stage for orchestra or player piano, but raised televisions, electronic signs, and a CD Jukebox in their stead; the bowling alleys and carnivals are things of the past. But one thing remains steadfast … the membership and their strong commitment to community involvement and the primary goals of the club – yachting and athletics.
